Advocating for policy change
• Regular input into government events, meetings and roundtables on all aspects of policy including carbon, climate change, energy efficiency and related issues e.g. in 2020:
o Sponsor and contributor to a Net Zero All-Party Parliamentary Group.
o Responded to the Future Homes Standard consultation and the Part L 2020 Domestic Working Group.
o CEO contributed to COP26 Business Leaders event to accelerate momentum for a green recovery post COVID-19.
o CEO contributed to two BEIS sessions.
• Regular employee communication on sustainability through internal communications channels.
• All employee and role specific sustainability training.
• Barratt is a partner of the Supply Chain Sustainability School, Chair of the Homes Leadership Group and achieved Gold membership. Funding the School annually to provide free resources to upskill and share sustainable practices with our supply chain.
